I'm a fee-only, fiduciary financial planner and investment manager in Austin, TX, and I specialize in working with tech professionals. I founded this firm in 2012, and was helping people with their finances for years before that.
I was an engineer for nearly twenty years, so I greatly prefer a research- and analysis-based approach to finance, rather than flashy salesmanship. More tax-efficient investing and research-proven factors of increased returns, and less market timing and hedge funds.
Also, I stand out at financial advisor conferences, because I rarely wear a suit. Why? Simply put, I don't wear a suit because I'm not a salesman.
And yes, I'm a nerd who loves playing video games with my kids on weekends!

I’m Seaborn’s Operations Specialist based out of Texas. I hold a BA degree in Anthropology from Texas A&M University, and I also hold an AAS degree in Law. Before joining the Seaborn team, I worked in financial services, operations, and research settings. Working in those different settings has honed my analytical and organizational skills.
I’m naturally gifted at organization and productivity, so operations-related work is perfect for my skillset. A big priority of mine is to assist Britton and Nick with streamlining processes so Seaborn can provide the best comprehensive financial planning for our clients.
Like Britton, I believe my work speaks for itself and I’m not a salesman either, so I’m usually donning fun hair colors and tattoos.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and my pets (I have three cats: Caesar, Porridge, and Bean, and one dog: Alder). I also love to sew, play videogames (My favorites are the Assassin’s Creed series, and all the Crash Bandicoot games), and watch TV shows and anime (My favorite anime is Detective Conan aka Case Closed).
